The Ferncrest Experience
Unique places. Comfortable stays.
Four glampground properties across the country. One idea — that you shouldn't have to choose between being outside and being comfortable.
What we do
Not camping. Not a hotel either.
Glamping at Ferncrest is the perfect in between of camping and hotel. Glamping stays in nature, with a real bed, a private fire pit outside your door, and every amenity a hotel room has. What we don't have is lobby art or a parking garage. What we do have is dark enough skies to see the Milky Way.
Each property is designed to make nature the star and outfitted accommodations.

Our properties
Four different landscapes. Same Ferncrest feeling.
Each Ferncrest property is tucked in a landscape that inspires real adventure and comfort, at the same time. Comfortable glamping accommodations make it that much easier to enjoy.

Wellness
The reset after the adventure.
Every Ferncrest property has communal wellness — whether it's a sauna, hot tub, or cold plunge (or all three). Towels provided. Reserve a private timeslot after booking and the space is yours. Some lodging also includes a private wood-fired cedar hot tub just outside your door.
Reserve a private time slot and enjoy. For wood fired wellness, firewood must be purchased separately.
For families
Everyone is welcome — kids, dogs, the whole crew.
Go glamping in nature's playground. Enough open space to let kids run in a direction and not worry about where they end up — no cars are allowed past the parking lot. Lodging sleeps up to six. Families get the nature they were hoping for and beds no one argues about.
Dogs welcome at every property.

The evening
Build the campfire. Tell the stories. Let the evening under the sky unfold.
Every dome has its own fire ring, private outdoor space and picnic table.
Firewood is available from the camp store.
Nearby
The property is just the beginning.
Acadia National Park. The Illinois River. Promised Land State Park. The Blue Hill Peninsula.
Each Ferncrest property is positioned inside a region worth exploring — hiking, paddling, coastal wandering, and back roads that actually go somewhere.
Four properties. Any weekend.
